Hi Pierre,

I have a question that I hope you can answer for me. I have 10 exotic birds that I know I can’t feed lemon and limes to. I have a fly problem in my home. I wanted to try a home remedy but I am not sure if it is okay for them to smell lemon and limes? Because what you are supposed to do cut the lemon and limes in half then stick cloves in them and set them out and the Flies are supposed to go away or die not sure. If you would have an answer for me this would be awesome. Thank you very much!

Thank you for this information given, I’ve 2 Budgies male & female under a year old they will be 1 the 22nd of January! The Male is called Pippin he’s grey & black barring with black on feathers like a lot off Budgies/Parakeet’s with a creamy yellow forehead he’s so adorable & the female Aver is a greeny turquoise colour with some blue at rear end & a yellow head gorgeous also, they spend time out off their cage almost every day as sometimes they don’t want to come out even with their door to cage open!
Such Amazing little creatures & so funny
I love your site & the fact that you explain why some foods are good & not good, that’s Brilliant & of course Very important, Thank you, I’ve shared this page to those I know that have these amazing Creatures!
