Hi my Cockatiel will not let me touch him and I have had him since February, recently I have been trying with a small perch but he will climb all over the cage to avoid stepping up on it. Please can you give me some advice.

Hello, Thank you for making this site, I was given a Cockatiel. they say he is 3 to 4 yr old. He doesnt like to get out of his cage. Also is it ok to feed them small bird seeds, without nuts etc., he wont eat fruit…

Can you give e some idea’s

Good Day Mr. Pierre,
Thank you for such a wonderful blog. I learned many things from it. I would like to inquire something more. I bought a cockatiel bird couple days ago. He seemed perfectly fine at the time i first saw it. As i brought him home, my bord dis not eat for the whole day or maybe i did not catch hik eating anything i am still not sure about this but he does not eat infront of me ao i took him back to the same place where i bought him from. He started eating there but then again when i bought him back home he did nor eat. He is also pooping watery yellow and a bit green solid in it. I am really concerned about him. I also noticed that he was shivering although the home temperature is normal. I am planning to take him to bet soon but my working hours are not allowing me to. Can you please advice here?
P. S. I haven’t seen him eating or drinking after bringing him back home again.

my cockatil shaking…
its not above reason..
it shacking and loose feather..
its age tree years old..
please help me…
