They were compatible cagemates until one died suddenly. The remaining bird basically sits and stares into her little mirror. I’ve been trying to find a parakeet size toy of a safe material to put into the cage for company. She does not look happy and unfortunately does not much attention from her human who does not, by the way want another bird. Please tell me where I can find a soft look-alike. I will be sure that introducing the newcomer to the cage will be supervised.
