Thank you for your comment. In some cases, you are right that a cockatiel might get aggressive with the mirror. But quite often, we have seen that a mirror can also help a lone bird have company. Especially when it is not possible to have another bird in the setup. As with most advice concerning birds, there is no right or wrong way of doing things. The solution is the classical “it depends”…
