I have many questions but the most concerning is , The smaller bird ( one much bigger, but the little one’s wing ? It just looks like he or she broke it or something…l have pics but someone said he or she is clipped. What ? I feel like when I brought them hone and put them in the cage, maybe this baby hurt her wing on a pitch flopping all around,,,or something, she cannot fly, but the other can. She always try’s but chirps and also when I change the paper, its like she gets scared and jumps off than jumps up to safety but no flying. On worr iui ed but, doesn’t seem to be in pain….ok…I’ll try n upload a pic, doesn’t look like I can..

If they seem aggressive and screechy it’s because they’re annoyed at each other. I have four budgies right now two couples in their own cages although they are the same flock. and their cages are right next to each other so they can communicate. they’re doing beautifully. so I’m lending my knowledge and experience and wishing you all the best, and blessings!

Budgies flap their wings rapidly when they see a flying piece of feather or a large dust particle. They do that to keep these away because they are afraid of them. That is why it is important to clean their cage regularly so that loose feathers or dust do not fly and scare them.

When 7 pm rolls around Max starts to squak loudly. Is that his way of telling me lights out?? I cover them and that stops the squaking.
Thanks

Hey Maria,

thank you for your comment.

It sounds like your white budgie is bullying the yellow budgie. However, since I do not know your whole situation, all I can do for now is recommend you to read the following article.

Are my budgies fighting or playing?

The article will show you what kind of behavior is aggressive and what behavior is simply playing. You might need to separate the two if you find out that the two do not get along.

Regards,

Pierre
